The European Facial is for those clients who desire a deep cleansing and relaxing facial. Also included is an aromatic steaming and finishing with a massage to the neck and shoulders. Customized to your skincare needs. This treatment leaves you feeling very relaxed and your skin revitalized and nourished.
Acne Escape Facial - $99 (50 min.)
A specialized anti-acne mask and moisturizer helps aid in the fight to eliminate bacteria trapped in the skin’s follicles. Thoroughly cleansing the skin and controlling oil production will prevent future breakouts by purifying your complexion.
Image Signature Facial - $110 (50 min.)
Revitalize dry, dull, aging skin with this Vitamin C enriched hydrating facial. Extractions performed will remove congestion and debris from the pores. A retinol enhancing serum will help tighten aging skin. A "cocktail blend" of Vitamins A, C and E will nourish while hyaluronic acid deeply hydrates. A lightening serum will then be massaged into the skin to even out skin tone and reduce any redness. The eye area will benefit from a vitamin C enriched gel as well as the lips deeply hydrated with an organic balancing lip enhancing complex.

What is Threading?
 Threading
is the art of using a cotton string to wrap around offending hairs
and pull them from the roots. Choosing to get your eyebrows threaded
instead of tweezed is smart because not only is threading faster
but it catches many smaller and finer hairs which may be difficult
to see. The number one mistake that women make when tweezing is
that they tweeze too much and tweeze parts of the face that should
not be tweezed
The art of threading has a nebulous past. In the
Middle East threading was started centuries ago. The mystery is
why has it taken so long for the practice of “Threading”
or “Stringing” to reach spas in the United States.
The
August 2008 issue of “The Washingtonian” featured an
article on threading and included a piece on our salon,
NAIL STUDIO & DAY SPA of Reston, VA.
Anyone who uses medication, be it topical or oral,
is better off choosing threading. This is true because waxing lifts
layers of skin off the face when the whole point of this service
is to remove hair, not skin. It’s not necessarily less painful
than waiting or tweezing but it is more effective. Threading can
be done to the entire face. This includes sideburns, chin, lips,
forehead, and; of course, the eyebrows. After getting your hairs
threaded, your skin may be pink or red, but will soon return to
your original skin color. Depending on the person, the effects of
threading should last anywhere from 3 to 6 weeks.
